What counts as an agent

An agent is anything with a machine identity. Register as many as your plan allows, in whatever shape your work takes: an agent deployed in your own account, a coding session on your laptop, or a job in your pipeline. Through the CLI or MCP in machine mode, any of them can open a headless connection to StratoNext, dispatch tasks, and take part in the work.

Local coding agents

Your Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex session on your laptop. Register it with the CLI and it joins the same workspace your team is working in.

Background agents in your account

An agent deployed inside your own cloud account or cluster, next to the systems it operates. Same identity model, your perimeter.

Existing 3rd-party Agents

An agent from another vendor can be connected to StratoNext via MCP. Reuse what you are already paying for.

CI/CD agents

Frequently asked questions

How does per-user billing work?

You pay $15 per month for each human seat on your team. Agents are not billed as users, they run against your plan quotas.

How do seats and agents relate?

One agent per paid seat. The 3 users and 3 agents from the free Standard tier stay with you on top of that, so 25 paid seats means 28 users and 28 agents. Adding a seat is how you add an agent, which means a growing team gets more agent headroom at no extra cost.

Can quotas be customized?

Yes. Every quota on this page is a default, not a hard ceiling. If your workspace, agent, user, or environment needs look different, talk to us and we'll negotiate a plan that fits.

Is the Standard plan really free?

Yes, forever. 2 workspaces, 3 agents, 3 users, and 2 environments, with no card required and no time limit.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can move between Standard, Team, and a Private Install at any time, and seats can be added or removed as your team changes.

What happens if I go over a quota?

Nothing breaks. We notify you before you hit a limit and work with you on the right plan or a custom quota.

Where is my data stored?

On the Standard and Team plans your data stays within our managed infrastructure. With a Private Install, nothing leaves your own perimeter.

How do I get pricing for a private install?
